Tina Bridgman is a British singer/songwriter who has played at many festivals throughout the UK, such as Glastonbury and in many venues and festivals in New Zealand. Having played the guitar since she was 13 and in bands since she was 17, by 2002, she had released 2 albums of her own songs.

However, a car accident in 2004 resulted in the loss of her left hand but far from giving up, she started to teach the guitar and voice and 2 years later, was back to fully playing the guitar herself. She has since produced a further 2 albums and now also runs voice workshops, teaches guitar to people of all ages and abilities and performs more than ever before.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
