The Stolen Generations (also known as stolen children) were the children of Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent who were forcibly removed from their families by Catholic church missions, under acts of their respective parliaments. Yes, the State not only helped but actually facilitated this process. They would take children from their families and force them into the religious residential schools where the priests and nuns would abuse them, torture and in many cases, even murder the children.
The removals occurred in the period between approximately 1869 and beyond 1970's.
Since these crimes are now being made known the world in many other countries where these corrupt organized crime schemes where implemented, governments have tried to use excuses such as saying this was implemented to "protect the children" when in fact, it was a clear attempt to wipe out the native race just like they did in Canada, to render the natives helpless and to take their land.
